Innovation in the teaching process is what separates good teachers from great teachers. Another sure fire measure to get your audience’ complete attention is explain the concepts of music in real terms – meaning having some live music going on in the class. Long and monotonous lectures about music are a bad idea and are doomed to fail. You need to have interactive sessions with your class to have their attention at all times.
